Temporary P/T Housing Officer
Islington Community and North Camden Housing Co-ops
C. 14 hrs/week, flexible working possible
£26-30k pro-rata, dependant on experience
We jointly own and manage some 210 homes in North London as fully mutual registered co-ops from our friendly office in Archway, London N19.
We need an experienced person committed to join our staff team of 5 in providing good quality service delivery to our tenants, including some with vulnerabilities.
This post is offered on a flexible basis and is initially for 6 months. It would suit someone wishing to work part-time for at least 14 hours per week to meet the needs of tenants, especially those being rehoused, at a busy time for us.
The key areas are: Tenancy support, New tenancies, Allocations, Rent arrears and Complaints
The ability/willingness to work collaboratively is essential.
North Camden Housing Co-op and Islington Housing Co-op were founded 30+ years ago and are fully mutual housing co-operatives. The Co-ops share a number of staff, and an office in the Archway area which is small, friendly and local to their properties (210 flats mostly in the N19 and NW5 areas).
The Co-ops are equal opportunities employers and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation or age. (There is a requirement to be able to carry out home visits when needed.)
