If you're
going to install a new computer system you're going to need advice,
training and technical support. No problem! We can train staff in general
computer operation as well as in our own software. Our systems are designed
to handle complex tasks in a straightforward manner so training is quick
and easy and no prior knowledge of computers is needed.
Training
When you
decide to take a CHICS package on a trial basis (for a nominal fee),
we give you half a day systems familiarisation for no extra charge.
Any subsequent training is offered at very low cost - just the standard
rate for a site visit. Compare this with other commercial training services.
Support
Our support
service provides telephone helpline advice on how to get the best from
your CHICS computer system. You also receive regular upgrades of the
software (typically every month) to include extra facilities and the
latest developments. For the first year, the support service is free.
Advice
We are
always happy to discuss matters on an informal basis. However, we also
offer low-cost impartial written advice, suitable for formal presentation
to management, on the purchase of compatible hardware and software.
Online
Support
In addition
to the above, all CHICS users can register with the CHICS Usergroup
Website. As well as being able to download the latest software updates,
utilities and help files, members can access the online discussion forum
to discuss problems and offer advice to other users, and CHICS staff.
This makes the forum a valuable resource for all clients. The Usergroup
also provides useful information on other related housing issues, such
as Data Protection and supplier lists.
